I feel jewelry is the missing bond between body & object. A form of art which communicates on a nonverbal level. It releases vibrations that originate from thoughts, ideas, and concepts.
These signals palpitate in space and communicate meaning. I borrow from the formal compositions in nature and I am invested in how these shapes and textures operate in relationship to the human body.
I seek inspiration from forms that are not necessarily considered beautiful and transform them into aesthetically desirable objects. Yet by exceedingly abstracting my forms, I tend to leave space for open interpretations.
